S570 Audio Playback issues

Hi!

 

I have a Sony BDP-S570 connected with HDMI to a B&O Beovision 10.

 

Everything used to work fine but since I just updated my firmwire I'm having issues with audio playback.

 

Playing Blu-rays works fine, the sound works but whenever I play mp3 files from a DLNA server or a USB memory I get no sound. The files play fine but I just don't get any sound.

 

I have checked the settings several times, tried changing things around, changing the HDMI from PCM to Bitstream but the problem remains. I have also checked my setting on the Beovision 10 several times but I can't find a solution for it.

 

Any idea on how to solve this?

    Hi flixen,

     

    i read your post and thought i'd take a look, i have the same player via hdmi to the Sony tv (also have digital coax to amp),

    i can play music (mp3) just fine through the tv and i have latest firmware which is M04.R.752.

    i initially thought that doing an update must re set some settings but that cannot be the case as mine is working, oh i forgot to add that they played through windows media player.

    my only advice i can offer at the moment is to re check your connections and go through the menu's and see if anything is different.

    if you have an amp with digital or coaxial connection try that also.
