I have had this machine for a long time and it has just started to play up. I have green lines on startup on the screen and the machine wont boot in safemode. I think the issue is with the NVIDIA graphics card as i had a BSOD quoting an NVIDIA driver.

I have tried running repair and diagnostics and even trying to boot from a linux usb drive still nothing.

Before i consign the machine to the scrap heap (which i dont want to do) is there a way if installing a new video card to replace the old one which may be faulty.

If so how easy is it to do and where would i buy a replacement card.
