When I download video from my NEX-5 on to Windows the sound is broken up by silent patches? Any idea

Is the sound perfectly ok when viewing videos on the camera? If the problem is only on the PC, I would advise you to download up to date video codecs first of all. I use this one:

http://www.divx.com/en/software/divx-plus/codec-pack
